The Bringer by Samantha Towle

Death is sad, Love is agony.
Lucyna was your everyday 'Bringer' with a twist. Her life was the something day in day out. Collecting her 'Brings' and taking them to the pearly gates, no fuss no hassle. Well that was until her next 'Bring' Maxwell Harrison on July 2nd at 3:14pm. When she saw James M Harrison for the first time and was wrapped in a shimmering light.

She tried to ignore the light but when Max asks her to look out for Max because he has no one left now he was gone, she tried to say no but he kept on and she promised to try and that was good enough for him and she took him to heaven. After dropping Max off, Lucyna tried to forget about James, but he mind kept slipping back to him so she decided to go to see him as her fulfilment of her promise to Max. But after seeing him the once, she couldn't keep away, with her new found emotions running wild within her she keeps it all too herself in fear of what 'The Elders' would do to her if they found out.
She decided to go and see Arlo, he friend and he was with Rosamund watching sports, whilst there Arlo starts asking where she has been and she lies. That shocks her more than anything. Whilst there Rosamund states not understanding humans and Lucyna becomes uncomfortable with the conversation. When she leaves, Arlo and Lucyna start talking and then she stops at the name of her next 'Bring' James Maxwell Harrison. Her world falls apart. Can she change God's will and save James? To find out James and Lucyna's fates, I suggest you pick up a copy of Samantha Towle's The Bringer and find out for yourself.

Whilst reading 'The Bringer' I laughed, cried and was on the edge of my seat. I couldn't put the book down, a real page turner. I love the way Samantha Towle's way with words and I for one cannot wait to read the sequel to this book.
